What is Urticaria and its Symptoms,Causes,Diet ,Ayurvedic treatments and Home remedies!

Urticaria is a skin disease in which yellow red swelling in groups on the skin surface is mainly observed on the trunk with itching. Urticaria is a case of hypersensitivity reactions for allergies. Urticaria develops around the loose tissues of the eyes or lips, the affected area can cause excessive pain and discomfort, although inflammation occurs in the presence of swelling in 12 to 24 hours, with swelling treatment.

This disease is also known as "nettle blast" or "Hives" because it looks like a sting of drama as an acidic stain. It is also called "SHEETA PITTA" in Ayurveda.



Symptoms of Urticaria:

  • >Burning red or white patches on the skin, with itching. Explosions can be as small as a pin head or as large as coin.
  • >Fever, digestive disturbance, presentation
  • >The explosion can be spherical or irregular and is often surrounded by a red area.
  • >This disease can affect any part of the whole body.

Cause of Urticaria:

  • > Digestive Disorder - This can be the result of digestive tract or digestive disorders such as mechanical irritation in toxicity.
  • > Medicines like aspirin, penicillin, quinine. 
  • > Some diets often cause urticaria in sensitive individuals. These include strawberries, tomatoes, cucumber, porridge, wheat, nuts, fish, eggs, chocolate, paneer, butter. 
  • > Bedding, grass, bee, mosquito, flies bite. 
  • > Emotional stimulation 
  • > viral infection 
  • > vaccine and blood transition 
  • > Deodorants, perfumes and talcum powder, cosmetic products, animal derivatives, and synthetic products such as the same artificial substances can cause Urticaria.



Types of Urticaria:


1. Acute Urticaria: It lasts for 6 weeks or less.

2. Chronic Urticaria: It lasts longer than 6 weeks.






Home remedies for Urticaria:

  • >Salt: About 12 grams of salt water should be dissolved and taken by the patient. To induce vomiting should be hugged. This will help to fix the blast.
  • >Rose water and vinegar: When there is severe itching on the explosion, then 35 ml vinegar is mixed with 25 ml vinegar and applied locally in the affected area. This will give immediate relief.
  • >Mint: 7 gm mint and 25 grams of brown sugar should be boiled about 175 ml of water and intoxication. It will be rid of itching.
  • > Turmeric: Combine the patient with one cup of water and add 2 spoons turmeric powder.
  • > Rauwolfia: 1 gram of root powder can be taken from one cup of water per day.
  • >Arani:3 gram root grams of Arani should be taken with 12 grams of pure ghee per day.
  • > For local application, prepare the paste with turmeric, Chakramarda and sesame seeds, kooth and massage on the affected areas. once or twice a day.
  • > Take a tub, add 1/2 cup corn starch and 1/2 cup backing soda in the liquech with hot water. The person suffering from urticaria will have to soak the body at least once a day.
  • > Use aloevera or aloevera based cream  in the affected area.
  • > There can be a nattle tea. Add honey or lemon to taste. Nattle is considered to be the property of healing urticaria.



Other treatments for articia:

  • > Hot water enema
  • > Exposure to fresh air and sunlight.
  • > Avoid exposure to cold and cold water.
  • > Hot epsom salt bath: This bath is prepared by dissolving 1 kg commercial epsom salt in a simple bath of hot water, taken three times a week for at least 10-20 minutes.


Diet for Urticaria:

All fruit diet: The patient should take three meals on the day of fresh juicy fruits like oranges, apples, pineapple, grapes, pears, peaches, papaya.

A well-balanced diet which includes nut, seeds, cereals, vegetables and fruits should be emphasized on fresh fruits and raw vegetables salads.

Avoid tea, coffee, wine, all the fresh foods, refined food which is difficult to digest.

Consumption of water and lemon: A glass of water containing half a lemon juice can be taken before one meal and between meals one hour earlier.

Rakta mokshyan (blood-letting): Rakta mokshyan is an Ayurveda method, which is used to remove some amount of toxic blood from the body. It helps in detoxifying the blood, thus primarily helps in various chronic skin disorders. The Leech is often used to suck the unclean blood from the affected area.


Ayurvedic medicines:

Haridhar Khanda - three times daily with water

Ras Sindhur - Three times daily with water

Gairic(red ochre) - 5 grains, three times water / with honey

Arogyavardhini vati - three times with honey

Sut Shekhar Ras - three times with honey

Urtiplex (charak) - 1 tab, 3-4 times a day

Kaishore guggulu- 2 Tabs, Daily Twice

Khadirarishta - 3 tsp, twice daily (should not be taken by Daibetic patients)
