According to a recent study, the risk of cancer was 3.2 times higher than men on healthy weight, compared to post-menopausal obesity. In one study, the risk of breast cancer recurrence was reduced with low fat diet, but study participants also reduced weight. So some researches believe that the risk of cancer was probably related to weight loss, and not low dietary fat.

Many experts on nutrition recommend soy-based foods because these foods are high in protein and contain low fat substances - which can help you lose weight. However, the connection between soy meal and cancer, especially between normal or breast cancer, has not been taken into account.

But there are many other reasons for incorporating soy based foods in your diet --- because it is rich in phytochemicals and antioxidants, both of which are beneficial to your health. Since soy is very weak plant-based estrogen, it is concerned that soy based foods can increase the risk of cancer related to hormones like breast cancer. Experts suggest that those who avoid breast cancer may sow in moderate amounts. It seems that the risk of breast cancer is increasing. However, nutritionists take caution using powdered soya and similar supplements because the levels of plant estrogen in these products are not known and can be unsafe.


Diet and Breast Cancer: Increased Alcohol and Risk

Alcohol can increase your risk of breast cancer. This is especially true if your blood level folate (leafy green vegetables and a water-soluble B vitamins present in beans) is less.
According to the American Cancer Society, women should not consume more than one glass of alcohol every day. Some experts believe that two drinks per week can increase your risk of breast cancer.

Experts say that uncertainty on the relationship between alcohol and breast cancer risk is due to the fact that most studies have examined the effect of one or more glasses of risk of alcohol and breast cancer. Studies have not tested the effect of alcohol less than one glass.
