Ayurveda and Yoga are two important remedies and rejuvenation practices born in India. The origin of these two systems is in the Vedas. It is believed that Ayurveda science and yoga is the practice of this science for overall health and welfare. According to the Vedic system, Ayurveda is a medicinal system for the purpose of treatment of the body and yoga is not a medical system, but an exercise for inner peace and spiritual well-being. While Yoga prepares the body for spiritual rejuvenation and knowledge, Ayurveda gives way to the body and mind to keep healthy.

There are many similarities between yoga and ayurveda. Both agree not together as body but as a body, mind, and spirit. Ayurveda and Yoga are based on the principles of Panchbhasha - Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Space and Trigunus - Sattva, Raj and Tama. These two systems are based on body constitutions (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Ayurveda is based on the pleasure of a particular person's body in diet and medical procedures. Yoga stabilizes all body humors and contributes to different yoga postures and vata, pitta, kapha has different effects on the type of body. Due to yoga and Ayurveda, the effect of diet and medicines on the body is also important. Yoga tone stays in body parts and purifies vital organs. Yoga is not just about asana, it includes moral subjects, breath control, sensory aspects, prayer, mantra and many meditation principles. Similarly, Ayurveda includes dietary remedies, all manner of lifestyle control.
