Commonly known as basil, is an effective way to treat acidity. In Ayurveda, medicinal properties of Tulsi are also recommended. Various experts recommend chewing fresh basil leaves before meals.


Mint

Mint leaves are also considered to be a popular natural remedy for acidity. To get rid of acidity you can chew a few mint empty stomach in the empty stomach for one month. After heavy meals you can drink mint juice too. This will help digestion.


coconut water

Coconut is widely known for its medicinal properties to cure many diseases. Drinking coconut water in an empty stomach helps in fighting regular acidity. You can also make a mixture using coconut water and fresh peel and cucumber in a food processor. It is considered very useful to drink this mixture after 15-20 minutes of meal.


Orange juice with cumin seeds

Take orange fresh orange juice and add some roasted cumin seeds in it. To get quick relief, drink this juice after the first signs of acidity. You may continue this for seven days for long-term benefits.



Apple vinegar

One of the fastest and easiest ways to stop acidity is the apple cider vinegar. Take 2-3 spoon vinegar in a glass of water and drink it for quick relief.


Lemon juice

Lemon juice is again a very effective solution for gas and acidity. Add two to three spoons of lemon juice in one glass of water, preferably hot and drink before eating heavy food. Repeat twice a day.


Ginger

Ginger is another useful spice, which has digestion and anti-inflammatory properties which can inactivate stomach acid. You can either chew a piece of ginger or boil in water to consume it.


Cinnamon

Cinnamon has natural remedies properties. There are antacids that help reduce acidic reaction. It can be consumed with tea or simply hot water.
